Do I need prior birdwatching experience?
Not at all. Our tours welcome complete beginners as warmly as seasoned listers. Andrid adapts every outing to the group's level, whether that means building your first life list or helping an experienced birder find a target species. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to wake up early.
How long are the expeditions?
Most half-day sessions last 4 to 5 hours, starting before dawn and finishing mid-morning when activity slows. A full-day expedition is also available, reaching a more remote highland site. Looking for several days on the trail? That becomes a tailor-made trip rather than one of these ready-made tours.
How many people are in a group?
We cap every tour at 4 participants. Smaller groups move more quietly, disturb the habitat less, and receive individual attention from the guide. Fully private expeditions are also available, ideal for solo travellers, couples, or anyone who prefers a more intimate experience.
What equipment should I bring?
Binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, and muted clothing are the essentials. If you don't own binoculars, we can lend you a pair. A lightweight waterproof layer and a hat complete the kit. Leave the bright colours at home. The birds will thank you.
